exceeding over 500 million), here are some interesting tidbits about the doll.
Her last name is Roberts
There really was a "Barbie". She was the daughter of Eliot
and Ruth Handler who noticed that Barbie preferred playing with a real life looking doll
rather than the mis-shpened ones. And...Barbie Handler had a brother. Want to guess what
his name was? You’re right. Ken.
Barbie’s looks (the doll, not the girl) was based on two
different people. The overall look of Grace Kelly and the figure of Brigitte Bardot.
Barbie is a college graduate having attended the generic State
college. It has never been specified what her degree was in but if a guess had to be made,
it would have to be marketing.
