Advice- something that is often given but seldom taken.

• People with clenched fists can not shake hands.
• Before you win a game, you have to not lose it.
• Live your life so you don't need to hide your diary.
• The good thing about bad things is that they end, and the bad thing about good things is that they also end.
• Learn from the mistakes of others--- you can't live long enough to make them all yourself.
• Don't be afraid to take a big step if one is necessary. You can't cross a chasm in two small steps.
• We can't all be heroes. Someone has to sit on the step and clap as they go by.
• Freedom consists of being able to do anything that does not hurt anyone else.
• If you love something, set it free. If it comes back it's yours forever. If it doesn't , it never was yours to begin with.
• A wise person keeps secrets in their heart.
• Worry about that past only if you intend to go that way.
• It ain’t what you know that’s the problem, it’s what you don’t know.
• If you have to lie, only lie about the future.
• Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have.
• The person who praises everybody, praises nobody.
• It isn’t the failing or falling down that makes you a failure, but the staying down.
• Remember, a friend is a gift you give yourself.
• Anyone complaining he was led into doing wrong by others, is admitting he has no mind of his own.
