Part of the new wave infiltrating Hollywood.  New views, new ideas...but appreciated the past...sort of.

 

  Derek the Director is one of the new guard...where money is more important that quality, where foreign films are treated godlike (any film you can't understand has to be deep...even if its just the language you don't get), and mood is more important than dialogue...after all, anyone can talk.  The "deal" is the business...not the picture.
